I help kids build discipline, focus, and strength through traditional yoga, silence, Indian games, and spiritual learning, not just quick fitness routines.

About

I see this as a sadhana, not a short-term course. If you’re hoping for instant results or something to just fill your child’s schedule, this isn’t the right fit. My approach is slow and steady, with the idea that real change comes over years, not weeks.

What I Actually Do

  • We blend play with real yogasana practice, aiming for strength and even tough postures like headstands.
  • Every session has a quiet time - 15-20 minutes of pure silence. Kids might fidget at first, but learning stillness is at the heart of mindfulness activities for kids.
  • We chant shlokas, learn from the Bhagavad Gita, and sometimes just laugh and play traditional Indian games for children. No fancy screens, just real connections.
  • Soon, I’ll add spoken Sanskrit and Hindustani Bansuri (the flute) to the mix, so there’s always something new to learn.

How I Teach

I’m strict but fair – sometimes soft, sometimes tough, whatever helps your child grow. My yogashala feels like a second home, where every kid can open up and be themselves, without anyone judging.

The Real Journey

This isn’t only about flexibility or fitness. It’s about yoga for child discipline, building patience, focus, and a mind that’s clear and calm. Even the most restless kids end up finding their own calm here. Alva? (Right?)

Essentials

My Story

Been at this for 12 years, but still feels like the start. Yoga for me isn’t just bending and stretching - it’s Mithahara, discipline, and feeling connected. Never had coffee or tea, just water and fresh juice. My podcast 'ನನ್ನ್ ಭಾರತ' (Nann Bharath) is my way to keep spirituality simple. I love making sendige with amma, celebrating with Ottu Shavige, and teaching kids. Mindfulness, patience, and compassion matter more than anything. Life’s about growing, glowing, and being real.

My Work

Yoga for all ages, including kids - I teach yoga to beginners, advanced folks, and kids (4-12), mixing mindfulness for children with spiritual talks and my podcast.

Sadhana, not just exercise - Progress takes time. I guide those who want real change, not quick fixes. Trust the process.

Practice with props and Kannada instructions - Classes often in Kannada. Parvagilla, I help you use walls, belts, chairs. Nann jothe practice maadi.

Kids’ classes with desi games - We play traditional games, meditate, and learn discipline. Desi games yoga class helps kids grow up sorted.

Yoga beyond the mat - It’s about your food, thoughts, and life. I teach traditional diet yoga and deep philosophy, not just postures.
