Yoga for me is sadhana – a daily grind, not some Insta-fame pursuit. It’s tough, honestly. The mind wanders, body gets lazy, but sticking with it, you slowly notice clarity sneaking in. Consistency matters more than flashy progress.
Everything I teach is rooted in Hatha Yoga with a big focus on alignment. Every asana, whether it’s Tadasana or a handstand, is about getting the details right. I talk a lot during class, give hands-on tweaks, and sometimes you’ll catch yourself thinking, “Yaake idella (why all this)?” But it’s this precision that keeps your practice safe and smart.
Props are not a sign of weakness. In my classes, we use walls, ropes, chairs, blocks – whatever helps. For those starting out, props make poses possible without strain. For pros, props help go deeper, especially for tricky stuff like Hanumanasana or new inversions. It’s all about learning your body’s mechanics.
Whether you’re new or have been on the mat for years, there’s space here for you. Beginners start slow, get the basics right, and use props for support. Intermediate folks join regular classes to build on their base. Advanced practitioners get workshops on complex asanas and transitions, as well as traditional hatha yoga techniques.
Progress is slow (nidhanakke, yaake bega?). South Indian oota and a quiet mind beat any fancy diet or shortcut. Show up, give it your best, and let your own journey unfold. That’s the real yoga, alva?
