About

At Cat Squad, we've seen what happens every "kitten season" in Bangalore - too many kittens, not enough homes, and a lot of suffering. Spaying and neutering isn't just a vet thing for us. It’s about stopping the cycle before it starts. One unspayed cat can mean thousands more street cats in a few years. We want everyone to know how one simple choice really changes lives, for both humans and cats.

What Changes After the Snip?

  • Healthier, longer lives for your cats. Sterilized cats are less likely to get certain cancers and infections.
  • Less drama at home: no yowling at night, no spraying on your furniture, and a calmer pet overall.
  • No more surprise litters or endless parade of neighborhood tomcats at your door.

Busting Spay/Neuter Myths

  • Your cat won’t get fat and lazy just because it’s been fixed. That’s about food and play, not surgery.
  • There’s no medical or emotional reason for your cat to have one litter before being spayed. In fact, earlier is usually better for their health.

When To Do It

We recommend spaying or neutering your kitten around 4-5 months old. Always check with your vet for the best timing and advice for your cat.

Our aim: more happy cats, less street suffering, and a city that’s kinder to animals. If you care about kitten overpopulation solutions or just want a chill, healthy pet, this is the move.

My Story

Hey, we’re Cat Squad, but most folks call us BCS. Started out ten years ago, just a bunch of us who couldn’t walk past a hungry street cat. We’re not a shelter with cages – we’re a wild mix of feeders, rescuers, and cat lovers, all running on chai and WhatsApp. Our cats crash at foster homes, not kennels. Some days are rough, like when we found Java barely hanging on, but seeing a floofy Indian cat finally snoozing in their new home? That’s why we keep at it. All heart, all hustle.

My Work

All in one Cat Rescue & Adoption - We do Indian cat adoption, rescue ops, foster care, TNR, plus post-adoption support for cats and families.

Adoption Process - You fill a form, we chat, we match you with a foster cat that fits your vibe. Simple, not scary.

Why Us - Our foster cats in Bangalore live in homes, not shelters. They’re litter-trained, social, and used to real life.

Care Promise - Every cat gets vet-checked, vaccinated, and spayed/neutered before meeting their new fam.

Our Kind of Family - We want folks who’ll keep cats safe, indoors, and shower them with love. It’s a lifetime thing.
