About Festive & Special Occasion Platters
What I Bring to Your Table
I grew up eating food that celebrates our festivals and culture, so for me, cooking festive & special occasion platters means sharing a piece of Manipur with you. My aim is to give you a taste of Eramdam Manipur right here in Delhi—no fuss, just real home-style flavors, perfect for making memories with your people.
Festive Platters: Only for the Season
- Cheiraoba (Manipuri New Year): My Cheiraoba's mathel lukoi (grand festive platter) is a hit every year. Up to 15 traditional items, from Sareng thongba (Boal fish curry) to Ooti, Bora, and the must-have Chak-hao kheer. It’s a proper traditional Cheiraoba feast.
- Kang (Ratha Yatra): This is all about NCF's khechri, served on lotus leaf—over 300 portions done last year. Feels festive, tastes even better.
- Puja Platters: For Epan Thaba and other pujas, I stick to simple, clean combos—veg pulao, fish curry, and kheer—fresh and packed for your rituals.
Not Just for Festivals
- Royal Manipuri Chakluk: Pure veg thali in traditional brassware. Feels special, looks beautiful, great for ceremonies or if you want a royal touch at home.
- Manipuriness Relish Munch: For when you just want to chill—Singju, Bora, Kelichana, Aloo mixture, all best with a hot cup of Cha-ngang (tea).
- Custom Platters: Birthdays, picnics, or random cravings—I’ll mix and match our best, from pork with bamboo shoots to fried chicken. You say, I cook.
