Hospitality: Contextual Resorts & Hotels

I design boutique hotels and resorts that are deeply rooted in their natural and cultural setting. Projects range from a modern steel and glass structure in Manali that incorporates traditional Kathkuni wood and stone methods, to a timber-braced hotel in Kashmir that reinterprets the vernacular Dhajji Dewari construction for seismic resilience.

Restaurant & Culinary Spaces

My approach to restaurant design is to create an atmosphere where the interior architecture complements the culinary experience. For Evoo, an Italian fine-dining space, I used exposed concrete and steel to craft a moody, industrial aesthetic, with an open kitchen that makes the act of cooking a central part of the dining performance.

Sculptural Retail Interiors

I treat retail spaces as an extension of the brand's identity, sculpting the environment to showcase the product. For a couture label in New Delhi, I designed a cave-like interior using raw concrete and mirrors, creating a dramatic backdrop where the garments are presented as art objects.

Architectural Concepts & Process

My design process is a rigorous investigation that moves from initial sketches and research to digital models and physical prototypes. This allows for a deep exploration of form, materiality, and construction logic, ensuring every detail is resolved before the final build.

Awards & Recognition

My work has been recognized by the architectural community for its commitment to contextual design and material integrity. Notable honors include being named Architect of the Year at India Design 2024 and being listed in the AD100 Hall of Fame.
