I’m always hunting for that perfect slice of light, whether it’s streaming into a subway station or breaking through the water in a cenote. My camera is my way of telling stories, split between the world underwater and the everyday drama of city streets and wild landscapes.
What sets my underwater work apart is freediving - I shoot on a single breath. No noisy bubbles, just floating quietly so I can get close to the real moment. I focus on natural light underwater images, capturing people, marine wildlife, and environments in a way that feels honest and almost surreal. Think ethereal underwater portraits of freedivers, sea turtles in Aruba, and the shadowy outlines of shipwrecks. It’s not about flashy colors or heavy editing - it’s about the feeling of being part of that world.
When I’m not in the water, I’m shooting cinematic fine art prints from my travels. I love black and white cityscape photos, moody city shots from NYC, Paris or Tokyo, and landscapes like lavender fields or supermoons over mountains. Sometimes I chase abstract patterns in ice or waves.
Based in NYC but always on the move - folks call me Jetlag for a reason. My gear is chosen for each story, whether it’s Leica for street scenes or Sony for fast action underwater. For underwater projects, I work with you to nail the concept and location, keeping it collaborative and real.
