This is the first thing a potential client will see. It’s a powerful, curated look into what our akhada is all about, from the raw tradition of mud wrestling to the success of our youngest champions.
Lal Mati Dangal: Traditional Mud Wrestling
We honor the roots of Kusti with training in the 'lal mati' (red soil). This is where raw strength, grip, and stamina are forged, connecting our pailwans to the ancient traditions of the sport. See our wrestlers in both intense 'talim' (training) and live 'dangal' (competitions).
Freestyle Mat Practice
We prepare our wrestlers for state, national, and international competitions with modern freestyle wrestling on mats. Our coaching focuses on technique, speed, and agility, covering everything from basic drills to advanced throws and takedowns.
Building Pailwans: Strength & Conditioning
A wrestler's power comes from relentless conditioning. Our training regimen includes a mix of traditional and modern methods like bodyweight exercises, 'rassi chadhai' (rope climbing), tire flips, dummy training, and weightlifting to build explosive strength and endurance.
Our Young Champions: Kids & Youth Batches
We believe in starting young to build a strong foundation of discipline, fitness, and respect. Our kids' batches for boys and girls focus on fundamental wrestling skills, physical literacy, and mental focus through engaging drills, group exercises, and meditation.
Celebrating Our Victories
The hard work in the akhada pays off in the competition arena. We are proud of our pailwans who have won medals at local, state, and national level competitions, including the Students Olympic Games.
The Akhada: Our Community & Culture
Joining us means becoming part of the Jai Hanuman Akhada family. We are a community built on the Guru-Shishya tradition, respect, and a shared passion for Kusti. This is our home, a place of training, spirituality, and international exchange.
