Bollywood & Fusion on Sitar/Zitar

Learn to play your favorite Bollywood hits and explore creative fusion music. I cover everything from soulful melodies to modern tracks, showing you how to adapt popular songs to both the acoustic sitar and the electric zitar.

Deep Dive into Classical Raags

Rooted in my PhD training from Varanasi, these lessons build a strong foundation in Indian classical music. We will explore the theory and practice of famous Raags like Malkauns, Kedar, and Hameer, focusing on proper technique and improvisation.

The Art of Collaboration

Music is a conversation. See how the sitar and zitar can blend with different instruments like the flute, guitar, tabla, and even drums. In my lessons, I teach the skills needed to jam with other musicians and find your place in a band.

In the Studio & On the Stage

Beyond teaching, I am an active session musician and live performer. This includes recording for Bollywood films like 'Zara Hatke Zara Bachke', performing on TV shows like 'Saregamapa Li'l Champs', and collaborating with renowned artists.

My Roots in Varanasi

My musical journey began in the spiritual city of Varanasi. The city's timeless energy, the sacred Ganga, and the Shri Kashi Vishwanath temple are a constant source of inspiration and are deeply woven into how I approach and teach music.
