- Senior Management Review: 1 monthly Milestone Visit by a Senior Architect to review progress against design intent.
- Defect Detection: Creation of Snag Lists pointing out execution errors like concrete honeycombing or un-level plaster for contractor rectification.
Quality & Material Control
- Material Verification: Visual and random physical inspection of raw materials (Cement, Steel, Sand) against BOQ specifications.
- Structural Audits: Checking Bar Bending Schedules and reinforcement placement before concrete pouring to prevent structural failure.
- Hidden Works Inspection: Checking electrical conduit layout and plumbing pressure testing before concealment.
Reporting & Coordination

Daily Supervision & Safety
- Full-Time Site Presence: Deployment of a qualified Resident Engineer 6 days a week for daily oversight.
- Green Building Compliance: Implementation of IGBC/GRIHA guidelines including dust control and waste management.
- Safety Protocols: Enforcement of PPE usage, scaffolding safety, and electrical safety standards.
- Coordination Meetings: Weekly site meetings with architects and contractors to resolve clashes.
Financial Control & Handover
- Bill Certification: Verification of every Measurement Book (MB) entry against actual site work before payment authorization.
- Reconciliation: Monthly reports comparing theoretical versus actual consumption of steel and cement to track wastage.
- Testing & Handover: Overseeing system testing (HVAC, Electrical) and compiling as-built drawings.

I lead construction projects from start to finish, making sure your plans don’t just stay on paper. My approach is all about practical project lifecycle management - I get involved from the bhoomi poojan (groundbreaking) all the way to the final handover. Every detail, every schedule, and every on-site issue is handled, so you don’t have to chase updates or worry about timelines slipping.
What I Actually Do
- I’m always present on-site, keeping tabs on workers and making sure everything matches the design.
- If there’s a tricky bit, like a skybridge or complex hospital block project management, I sort it out with the team - no shortcuts.
- I keep the schedule tight, coordinating everything from excavation to off-site pre-fab deliveries.
- I work across different sectors: industrial campus construction, healthcare centers, commercial offices, schools, and high-end homes.

I don’t just talk about sustainability for the sake of it. I push for green building certification wherever possible, aiming for IGBC Platinum and Gold ratings. That takes extra effort and sometimes means more paperwork, but it’s worth it for long-term value.
