Acne, scars, and pigmentation can really mess with your confidence. I get it - these problems don’t just go away with a face wash. At our clinics, we’ve seen all kinds of skin stories, and honestly, there’s no single fix that works for everyone.
What I Actually Do
- Every person’s skin is different, so I always start with a proper chat and skin check. Sometimes it’s hormonal acne, sometimes it’s just stubborn marks that won’t fade.
- I look at what’s really going on - is it active breakouts, old scars, or those annoying dark spots?
- Not all scars are the same. There’s ice pick, rolling, boxcar, and hypertrophic scars. Figuring out which one you have helps me pick the right treatment.
How I Tackle It
- For active acne, I use a mix of chemical peels, SSR/IPL, Tribeam & CO2 lasers, RF microneedling, and custom MediFacials. The goal is to calm things down and stop new breakouts.
- If scars are the main issue, I might suggest Morpheus8 (that’s advanced microneedling with RF), CO2 laser resurfacing, or sometimes just classic microneedling or microdermabrasion. These really help with skin texture improvement treatments.
- For pigmentation and dark spots, Tribeam laser and chemical peels are my go-tos. I also use PDRN boosters and LED therapy for post-acne hyperpigmentation solutions.
