This is the first thing you'll see on my page. It’s a quick look into what my art and workshops are all about: capturing moments, learning techniques, and just having a good time creating. It’s a mix of my personal work and the vibe of our outdoor sessions.
Outdoor Sketching: Our Delhi Classroom
Delhi is our studio. In these workshops, we explore different parts of the city, from the peaceful gardens of Sunder Nursery to the busy streets of Janpath, and learn to capture them in our sketchbooks. We focus on live sketching with mediums like ink and pencil to draw heritage buildings, landscapes, and city scenes.
Portraits: Capturing Faces & Moods
This is a collection of my portrait work, which is a big passion of mine. You'll see different styles here, from quick, expressive sketches using hatching to more detailed charcoal and graphite studies. We cover these techniques in my classes, starting with basics like the Loomis method to get proportions right.
The Drawing Process: From Blank Page to Art
Progress isn't always pretty, and it's definitely not linear. This cluster shows the journey of a drawing, from the first messy outlines to the final details. I'm sharing these work-in-progress shots because the process is just as important as the finished piece.
Learning the Fundamentals: Studies & Techniques
Every great artist starts with the basics. This section is all about practice, studies, and breaking things down into easy steps. Here you'll find tutorials, master copies, and practice sketches for things like facial features, still life, and hair.
