This is a preview of my teaching philosophy and the focused environment of my workshops. Here you will see a blend of my personal practice, the challenging asanas we work on, and the hands-on, alignment-focused instruction I provide to help serious students deepen their practice.
Hands-on Alignment & Adjustments
My teaching is direct and physical. In these workshops, I provide real-time feedback and hands-on adjustments to help you safely deepen your understanding of alignment and correct your form in each asana.
Advanced Inversions & Arm Balances
These workshops focus on building the strength, stability, and confidence required for inversions and arm balances. We break down complex poses like handstands (Adho Mukha Vrksasana), headstands (Sirsasana), and forearm stands (Pincha Mayurasana) using methodical progressions and props.
Deep Backbends & Spinal Articulation
Explore the anatomy of the spine and learn to open the heart center safely in our backbending workshops. We focus on poses like Urdhva Dhanurasana (Wheel Pose) and Eka Pada Rajakapotasana (Pigeon Pose), using props and partner work to build flexibility and strength.
Hip Opening & Forward Folds
These sessions are designed to release tension in the hips and lengthen the hamstrings through a series of deep stretches. We work towards poses like Hanumanasana (splits) and Kurmasana (Tortoise Pose), using props to support the body and allow for a gradual, safe opening.
Prop-Assisted Practice for Deeper Alignment
Props are not a crutch; they are intelligent tools for learning. In my workshops, we use blocks, straps, chairs, and the wall to understand correct alignment, build strength safely, and access poses that might otherwise be challenging.
My Personal Practice (Abhyasa)
My teaching is a reflection of my own dedicated self-practice, or *abhyasa*. This is where I explore the depths of asana, refine my understanding, and maintain the discipline that I bring to my students.
The Spiritual Path of Yoga
For me, yoga is a spiritual journey rooted in Sanatan Dharma. These moments from our workshops and retreats capture the essence of yoga beyond the mat, incorporating chanting, prayer, and practice in sacred spaces.
