The recording studio is my sanctuary. It's where I collaborate with composers, arrangers, and fellow musicians to lay down the perfect tabla tracks for albums, film background scores, and original singles. At the heart of all my work is the daily practice, or 'riyaz'. This is where I connect with my instrument and honour the teachings of my guru. This collection features solo performances and practice sessions that showcase the core of my craft, from the intricate compositions of the Farukhabad Gharana to contemporary classical pieces.
