Our Students in Action
Watch our students from Agra turn complex calculations into child's play. These clips show the speed and focus children develop through our visual arithmetic training.
At just five years old, our student Krisha demonstrates the power of visual arithmetic. She is mentally calculating a 10-row sum, a skill developed in our junior-level abacus brain development program.
This is Unnati, a graduate of our complete program, showcasing her advanced mental gymnastics. She can solve multi-digit multiplication and division sums in seconds, a testament to the memory improvement for kids that our training provides.
Confidence on stage is a key outcome of our program. Here, students participate in a live, fast-paced mental math challenge, showing their ability to focus and calculate accurately in a competitive environment.
A quiet moment of intense focus. This image captures one of our students deeply engaged in his workbook, practicing the techniques that build speed, accuracy, and concentration.
About Our Students in Action
You will notice that these aren't just math drills. By the time a student reaches the advanced levels shown here, they have stopped using fingers or physical tools and are fully visualizing the abacus beads in their head. This shift allows them to solve multi-digit multiplication and addition in seconds.
How Our Students Master Mental Maths
The progress you see in these clips is the result of a structured, 6-level programme that goes beyond simple calculation. Here is how our students build these skills:
- The Foundation (Bead Visualization): In the early stages, we teach children to use the physical abacus. As they progress, they learn to move the beads in their mind, which is exactly what five-year-old Krisha is doing in the video.
- Speed Drills: Once visualization becomes second nature, we introduce high-paced arithmetic exercises. This is where the 'magic' happens. It forces the brain to process numbers at high speed, improving concentration and focus.
- The Result: Our advanced students, like Unnati, can handle multi-digit multiplication and division entirely in their heads. It is not just about the math; it is about building the aatma-vishwas (self-confidence) that comes from knowing they can handle complex tasks on their own.
Why Focus on Mental Arithmetic?
Parents often ask us why we teach abacus when calculators exist. The answer is simple: it is about brain development, not just finding the answer.
- Memory Improvement: Visualizing numbers improves short-term and working memory.
- Focus: The interactive, fast-paced nature of our classes keeps children engaged, teaching them to ignore distractions and stay focused.
- Confidence: Solving a complex sum in seconds gives a child a massive boost in self-esteem. That confidence helps them tackle challenges in school and daily life with the same energy.
