Do Dham Yatra: Kedarnath & Badrinath Road Trip
Package Inclusions
- Group Transport: Seat in a shared 12 to 14 seater Tempo Traveller or SUV (Innova/Bolero). Includes pickup and drop from Haridwar Railway Station/ISBT.
- Accommodation: 4 nights stay in budget friendly hotels or Swiss Camps (Guptkashi/Phata and Badrinath/Joshimath areas). Base pricing is for Triple or Quad sharing.
- Meals: MAP Plan including 4 Breakfasts and 4 Dinners. Menu is pure Vegetarian, North Indian buffet or fixed menu. Lunch is excluded.
- Trek Support: Trip Captain to manage logistics and basic medical kit (Oximeter, Oxygen cylinder) in the vehicle.
- Sightseeing: Stops at Mana Village, Tapt Kund, Narad Kund, and Rudraprayag confluence.
- Paperwork: Assistance with Biometric Yatra pass registration.
Vital Details
- Trek Costs: The package covers transport to Sonprayag only. The 16km trek to Kedarnath is self paced. Ponies (approx INR 2.5k to 4k), Palkis, or Helicopters are NOT included in this price.
- Amenities: In remote Himalayan stays, geysers are rare. Hot water is often provided by the bucket and is charged extra by the hotel (INR 50 to 100).
- Network: Expect zero connectivity on the trek. Jio/Airtel work intermittently in base towns.
- Vibe: High energy group travel often featuring loud music in the vehicle.

- Round Trip Transport: Dedicated seat in a Tempo Traveller or Mini Bus from Haridwar for the full 10 days. Includes tolls, parking, and driver allowances.
- Accommodation: 9 nights in standard Hotels or Guest Houses across Barkot, Uttarkashi, Guptkashi, Badrinath, and Rudraprayag.
- Meals: Daily Breakfast and Dinner included. Simple, hygienic vegetarian meals suitable for high altitude digestion.
- Logistics: Assistance with mandatory Chardham Yatra E Pass and an experienced Trip Leader to manage timelines.
- Sightseeing: Views of Tehri Dam, Kempty Falls, Vishwanath Temple, and the 5 Prayags (river confluences).
Vital Details
- Endurance: Expect 8 to 10 hours of travel per day on winding roads. Motion sickness medication is recommended.
- Darshan: Waiting times in temple lines can range from 4 to 10 hours. VIP Darshan tickets are not included.
- Local Transfers: Local union jeeps required at Yamunotri or Gangotri are generally covered, but small direct cash payments (INR 100 to 200) may occasionally be required on spot.
- Luggage: Strictly limited to one rucksack or bag per person due to limited vehicle boot space.

- Accommodation: 2 nights camping in Alpine Tents at Chopta or Baniyakund (Double/Triple sharing). Sleeping bags and mats provided.
- Meals: 2 Dinners, 2 Breakfasts, and 1 Packed Lunch for summit day.
- Guidance: Certified mountaineering trek leader for the snow trail to Chandrashila peak.
- Permits: Forest entry fees for the Chopta Tungnath trail included.
Vital Details
- Effort Level: This requires physical fitness. It involves a 5km steep trek up to 13,000 ft.
- Sanitation: Campsites utilize dry pit toilets or common washroom tents. No attached bathrooms or running hot water showers.
- Temple Access: The Tungnath temple structure is closed during peak winter snow, though the trek to the Chandrashila summit remains open.
- Gear: Snow boots and trekking poles are not included but can be rented locally in Chopta (approx INR 300 to 500).
