Clinical Acne and Scar Revision Treatments
This collection documents my core approach to clinical dermatology: treating active acne, fading stubborn blemishes, and rebuilding skin texture with medical-grade precision.
This image shows the significant reduction of post-acne blemishes and inflammation after a course of six chemical peel sessions. My goal is to not only clear the skin but also restore its natural, even tone and texture.
Here, I explain the capabilities of our US FDA approved Vivace Microneedling Radiofrequency (MNRF) device. This technology is one of my primary tools for treating acne scars, enlarged pores, and signs of aging by stimulating your skin’s natural collagen and elastin production for lasting rejuvenation.
It is important to understand that not all acne scars are the same. In this video, I classify the different types, from ice pick to rolling scars, and explain why a combination of treatments like fractional CO2 laser, MNRF, and TCA Cross is necessary for effective, long-term improvement.
Chemical peels are a cornerstone of my practice for treating pigmentation and active acne. I discuss the various types of peels, such as TCA and Yellow Peel, and explain which is most effective for specific concerns like post-acne marks, dullness, and pigmentation on Indian skin.
This is another example of the progress that can be achieved with a structured treatment plan. After six sessions of targeted chemical peels, the patient's skin shows a dramatic improvement in clarity and a reduction in active acne lesions.
Achieving clear skin is a partnership that extends beyond the clinic. I briefly outline the holistic approach I advocate, which includes crucial dietary modifications and lifestyle adjustments alongside clinical treatments to manage acne effectively.
About Featured
Achieving real, lasting clarity is a partnership. While the images here showcase successful results after six sessions of chemical peels, these outcomes depend on strict adherence to our combined approach: clinical peels to target active inflammation, manual comedone extraction to prevent scarring, and essential dietary modifications to eliminate triggers like dairy and whey protein. There are no overnight miracles here, only consistent, science-backed protocols.
My Approach to Clinical Dermatology
I believe the most effective skin treatment isn't a trending routine or a miracle cream, but a plan built on your specific skin type and our local Gurugram climate. When you come to my clinic in Sushant Lok, you are not just getting a service; you are entering a structured protocol.
The Science of Scar Revision
Acne scars are not all the same. They range from ice pick and boxcar to rolling scars, and treating them requires recognizing the difference.
- Vivace MNRF: I utilize this US FDA-approved device to combine microneedling with radiofrequency, rebuilding collagen and elastin in the deeper layers of your skin.
- Fractional CO2 Laser: Used for more textured, rough skin, this ablative laser resurfaces the skin to improve smoothness.
- TCA Cross: For deep, stubborn ice-pick scars, I apply high-concentration Trichloroacetic Acid with precision to encourage tissue repair.
Why Chemical Peels Work
For post-acne blemishes and pigmentation, mild glycolic peels are rarely enough. I typically recommend TCA or Yellow Peels, as they are the most effective for Indian skin tones. The process involves a downtime of 5 to 10 days where your skin sheds dead cells. It is not always a comfortable process, but it is necessary to reveal the clearer, more even-toned skin underneath.
The Importance of Personal Care
One non-negotiable rule in my practice is that I perform every procedure myself. Whether it is laser hair removal, an acne scar session, or a chemical peel, I do not pass patients to technicians. This ensures that parameters are set correctly for your specific skin barrier, which is vital for preventing post-procedure irritation or worsening pigmentation.
If you are ready for a treatment plan that prioritizes safety, science, and lasting results over quick fixes, let us discuss your specific skin history.
