Ramayan, Shiv Shakti & Other Musical Narratives

I believe the tabla can do more than just keep rhythm; it can tell stories. This collection features my conceptual concerts where I use the tabla's melodic voice to narrate epics like the Ramayan, explore the divine dance of Shiv Shakti, or celebrate the leelas of Krishna. These are audio-visual experiences that blend music, poetry, and storytelling.

Stree Shakti: Pioneering an All-Female Ensemble

In 1996, I founded Stree Shakti, the world's first all-female Indian classical band, to create a platform for women in a traditionally male-dominated field. This is a showcase of our journey, performing a blend of Hindustani and Carnatic music at prestigious venues from WOMAD in the UK to the ICCR in Delhi.
