About Early Childhood Music Classes
Why We Do What We Do
Music is for everyone, even the tiniest humans. At Solfege Academy, I see how kids light up when they hear a beat or sing a silly song. It’s not about perfect pitch - it’s about letting them feel the music, move their bodies, and just have fun. I want every child to walk out smiling, maybe humming a tune, and feeling proud of themselves.
What Happens in Our Classes
Our 'Early Echoes' sessions are for kids aged 3 to 6. We teamed up with Zoe Alvares, a Montessori teacher, to make sure every activity is playful and child-led. Here’s what your little one can expect:
- Singing songs from all over the world (multicultural music for kids)
- Dancing with scarves, ribbons, and whatever props we can find
- Trying out different instruments - sometimes it’s a drum, sometimes it’s a shaker, sometimes it’s just clapping hands (hands-on music classes for young children)
- Rhythm games for preschoolers that feel more like play than lessons
- Listening to sounds around us and finding music in everyday things
Our Space & Sessions
Classes run for 50 minutes in our cozy Bandra West studio. It’s not fancy, but it’s warm and welcoming. Kids can be themselves here - loud, quiet, shy, or wild. We keep things relaxed, and parents can try a session before deciding if it’s right for their child.

My Story
Hey, I’m Sneha. Solfege feels like home to me – music’s always been in my blood, thanks to my dad and his wild vinyl stash. Same goes for the other teachers here, everyone’s got their own family music story. We wanted Solfege to feel warm, not stiff – picked up funky chairs from the local market, made it cozy. Students learn from each other, not just us. Piano’s about heart, not just notes.
My Work

Passionate, personal teaching - All teachers here love music deeply and guide each student with care and encouragement.
