About Healthy Indian Sweets & Savories

Why I Do What I Do

I make snacks and sweets that feel like they came from your own kitchen. Everything’s ghar-jaisa (like home), full of flavour and made with care. I stick to old-school ways - slow roasting, baking instead of frying, and never cutting corners. Sometimes, things take longer, but that’s how you get real taste.

What Goes In (And What Doesn’t)

  • No maida, no preservatives, no weird additives
  • Only jaggery and nolen gur for sweetness - no refined sugar
  • Baked Indian snacks whenever possible, so you don’t feel heavy after munching
  • Nuts, seeds, grains for steady energy - not just empty calories

Sweet Stuff

If you want guilt-free mithai options, I’ve got you. My laddoos range from classic Besan and Gond to Ragi and Cocoa Walnut (made with nutritionist Suman Agarwal). For festivals, you’ll find Modaks for Ganesh Chaturthi, Gujiyas for Holi, and winter Gajak and Chikki - til-gul ghya, god-god bola (take sesame-jaggery sweet, speak sweetly).

Savory Munchies

Need something chatpata (tangy and savory) for chai or cravings? Try Broccoli Chips, Banana Chips, Pav Bhaji Mini Khakhras, and fasting snacks like Sabudana Sticks and Farali Chivda. Festival healthy treats are always in the mix.

For Every Occasion

My snacks fit anywhere - tiffin, tea-time, guest platters, or festival spreads. I also pack gift boxes and hampers for weddings, corporate events, or just to make someone smile.

My Story

We started Soam at Home because snacks just weren’t the same anymore. Missing that ghar-jaisa warmth, we went back to old-school – slow-roasting, baking, pure jaggery, no maida, no shortcuts. Our snacks are about childhood memories and healthy living, not just munching. Every batch, we’re sharing a bit of our home, our story, hoping you feel the same comfort we do.
