About

I run Vyoma as more than just a black-box studio. For me, it’s a home for creators who want to try something new, raw, or different. I see all kinds of folks here, from seasoned theatre troupes to first-timers figuring stuff out. Art should feel accessible, so I keep things simple and open for all.

The Space

• Blank-canvas black-box studio - no unnecessary frills, just pure potential
• Open, industrial floor plan with modular stage platforms (set up how you want)
• Black curtains, a full lighting rig with spotlights, colored lights, and a solid sound system
• Folding chairs for flexible seating, fits 50-70 people (cosy and full of energy when packed)
• Mezzanine for tech or creative staging, big windows for natural light (can black out if needed)
• Backstage area for prep, costume, little breaks

What You Can Do

• Theatre and performances in any language - we’ve hosted Kannada, Tamil, English, dance, poetry, you name it
• Workshops, improv, story writing, lighting classes, little ones’ (putta puttis) learning sessions
• Shoots and auditions work well - the lighting setup and open layout helps a lot
• Perfect for open mics, poetry slams, music jams, or just a chilled community gathering

I try to keep Vyoma warm and collaborative - not just four walls and gear. People call it a hidden jewel or a cosy venue, and honestly, that’s the vibe I’m after.
