I’m Vanshi Shastrii. Twenty years in, I’ve seen every kind of crowd—and trust me, the best nights are never about just hitting play. My thing is curating music events that feel like a movement, not just a gathering. If you want a regular DJ, I’m not your guy. But if you want your event to have a story, energy, and maybe even its own little cult following, we’re on the same page.

What I Bring

  • Built Afrodisiac from scratch - my own monthly night dedicated to Afro-Latin music curation. People come for the beats, but stay for the community vibe.
  • I take care of the whole experience: concept, music, branding, right down to partnering with the best venues in Bangalore.
  • Love collaborating - whether it’s launching a themed party for hotels, or energizing a festival stage. Delivered signature nights like ‘F.R.I.E.N.D.S Weekend’ and played big gigs like SteppinOut.
  • Not into repeating the same old – I’m always digging for deep cuts and unreleased tracks for curated dance playlists that keep people talking.

My Story

Hey, I'm Vanshi - Bangalore born, music raised. Been DJing for 20+ years, still loving every beat. Hit 40, but the energy's only gone up! I'm a dog dad, studio addict, and founder of Afrodisiac - my own Afro-Latin event series. For me, DJing's more than gigs, it’s making memories and dropping good vibes. When I’m not spinning at clubs or parties, I'm in my studio, cooking up fresh sounds.
