We started United Budokan Karate Academy way back in ‘89. Our goal? Help people feel strong - not just in competitions, but in everyday life. Over the years, we’ve seen that real confidence comes when you know how to protect yourself, no matter who you are.

What We Do

Our self-defense workshops focus on practical self-defense skills, not fancy moves or complicated routines. You’ll get hands-on training that’s easy to understand and use, even if you’ve never tried anything like this before. No need for uniforms - wear whatever you’re comfortable in. We put big emphasis on mental strength too, not just physical stuff.

Who It’s For

We run sessions for all kinds of folks:

• Corporate team protection at offices, with a special focus on women's safety training
• Private groups and individuals who want a more personal experience

How We Teach

Our instructors aren’t just good - they’ve been doing this for decades. You’ll get direct feedback and support in every class. Sometimes it’s a bit tiring, but we keep things real and accessible.
