At Senshi Karate Club, I keep things lively and easygoing for the youngest karate beginners, even the tiny tots starting at age 3. There’s loads of playful energy – sometimes the kids are all jumping around, sometimes just sprawled out together after a round of fun karate games.
I blend basic stances, punches, and learning about karate belts with games and stories, so children get the feel of martial arts without pressure. Drawing sessions and group games are part of our daily routine. Watching the kids make new friends and laugh together is honestly the highlight.
We use different spaces, sometimes indoors and other times outdoors on the lawn, so kids get fresh air and a change of scene. If you’re looking for outdoor karate camp for young kids, this is it – we love switching it up.
Don’t stress about gear – some kids come in gis, others just in shorts and tees. Comfort is key, especially for beginner karate for preschoolers.
I’m not a strict sensei here. My job is more like a guide, cheering every win and making sure every kid feels safe, happy, and confident. The camp is about learning, but it’s also about building a karate confidence for toddlers and having a good time.

My Work

Classes for the Little Ones - Kids from age 3 join us. We’re more friendly guide than strict sensei, with lots of breaks and smiles.
How Our Classes Go - Starts with energy, then practice, then posing and giggles. Confidence building karate lessons, just being kids.
