About

We hold onto the teachings of Ramana Maharshi like a lighthouse in the chaos. Everything we do here is about diving deep into the question 'Who am I?' - or, as we say in Kannada, 'Nan Yaru'. Our workshops aren’t about flashy rituals or complicated philosophy. Just simple, practical steps to turn your attention inwards and find some real quiet in your own mind.

What Happens in Our Workshop

  • Two days, full immersion.
  • Not just listening - you get involved.
  • We explore Ramana Maharshi teachings, not just by talking, but by actually practicing Atma Vichara (self-enquiry).
  • Guided meditation sessions to help you experience the 'Who am I?' question for yourself.
  • Interactive - you can ask, share, or just sit and listen.
  • Activities to bring those ideas down to earth. Some bits might feel repetitive, but that’s how it sinks in.

Who Shows Up?

Honestly, anyone. No need to be a spiritual expert - just show up as you are. Age, background, beliefs - none of that matters here.

Languages We Use

Most sessions are in English, but sometimes we break into Kannada. If you’re comfortable in either, you’ll fit right in.

After the Workshop

This is just the beginning. If you want, there’s a Sunday Ramana Satsang at our Mekhri Circle shrine where people keep exploring together. The journey doesn’t really end.

My Story

Namo Ramana! We started this centre with Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi’s teachings in our hearts. Here, art isn’t just art—it’s prayer. We sing, dance, act, and meditate, all to ask one simple thing: ‘Who am I?’ Kids find a friend in Ramana, learning shlokas and stories. Ellarigu aadara swagata! (Warm welcome to everyone.) Whether you come for Carnatic music, Bharatanatyam, or just to sit quietly, you’ll find a space to be yourself.
