What Happens Here

Every retreat is a mix of movement, quiet, and the outdoors. Here’s what you’ll actually do:

  • Daily asana (like Hatha or Yin) and pranayama to wake up the body
  • Guided meditation, sound healing, and simple talks about yoga philosophy
  • Walking in tea estates or up mountain paths, soaking up the prana of wild places
  • Local, home-style food (honestly, sometimes simple but always fresh)

I keep it real - not every day feels like a postcard, but the places lift you up.

  • Himalayan yoga retreat: 8 days in the hills, practicing by the Ganga, living in villages like Harsil and Rishikesh
  • Shorter 5-day breaks in tea estates, mostly Nilgiris, where you wake to birds and mist

My Story

Hey, we’re Pratyaksha Yoga. Yashwanth started off teaching on the mat, hours every day, but soon realized yoga wasn’t just about guiding others—it was changing him too. That spark led us here: helping folks not just learn, but teach, so the light spreads. We don’t hand out answers. We help you see your own path, just like our Gurus did for us. That’s what matters—finding your own light.

My Work
