I know walking into a dance party alone can feel intimidating. That’s why at Lourd Vijay’s Dance Studio, you’re never out of place. No partner? Chalta hai (It’s okay). Two left feet? Happens to the best of us. My goal is simple - get folks moving and laughing together, minus the pressure.
Weekly Havana Nights: Where Bangalore Dances
Every week, we host Havana Nights - the Latin dance party Bangalore swears by. The club comes alive with Salsa & Bachata socials, plus a splash of Jive, Kizomba, and Swing. The crowd? Super mixed, from total newbies to dance addicts. Expect electric energy, easygoing mini-workshops, and themed nights that keep things fresh. Jack & Jill mixers mean everyone gets to dance with someone new, so you won’t be stuck on the sidelines.
Open Floor Studio Socials: Chill Vibes, Real Moves
Not into noisy crowds? Our studio socials are low-key, cosy, and perfect for practicing what you learned in class. You hang out, snack, chat, and dance - but if you’re just here for a drink and not moving, that’s not really the vibe.
Big Annual Events: Gala & Retreats
Once a year, it’s time for something special. The Winter Ball is our formal annual dance gala, while Gala Del Sol is a three-day beachside getaway with non-stop dancing and workshops. People from all over look forward to these.
