Lighting isn’t just about seeing - it’s about feeling. I look at every hotel, bar, or restaurant and ask, “What’s the vibe here?” Whether it’s a laid-back lounge or a buzzing party spot, I use light to set that mood. My aim is for people to walk in and just feel good, even if they don’t know why.

My Approach: Layered Lighting

I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all. To get that perfect atmosphere, I layer different types of light, almost like mixing colors on a canvas.

• Soft ambient lighting for hotels sets the base mood and makes guests feel at home.
• Accent lights highlight textures, art, or cool architecture, so the space shows off its best side.
• Task lights are practical but never harsh - the bar counter, dining tables, reception, all get the right glow.
• Decorative lighting fixtures in hospitality spaces bring in that touch of wow, whether it’s a standout pendant or something sculptural.

Adding Drama

I love playing with shadows and contrast. A ceiling can look taller, a wall can pop, and the whole place gets depth and character. The trick is keeping it comfy, not glaring - so guests can relax without squinting.
