I’ve watched this place grow with my family over 25 years - Kund Indian Barbeque is more than just a restaurant to me, it’s our home. Everything here started with my Papa’s dream. We live by athithi Devo bhava (the guest is God), and that’s not just talk, it’s how we run things every day.

What We Bring to the Table

  • Real North Indian khana, no fancy drama. Just robust, straightforward food, cooked mostly in our old-school charcoal tandoor. It’s healthier and keeps the taste sharp.
  • Our masalas? Secret recipe, 100 years old, passed down in the family. That’s the heart of every dish.
  • We stick to pure stuff: shudh desi ghee and fresh paneer, made daily. People swear our paneer is the softest you’ll get in Bangalore.

We’ve got a new look now - brighter, with a big jhoomar and walls that show off our journey and awards. It was a khatta meetha process but worth it. The taste? Still the same old, authentic North Indian restaurant Bangalore folks remember.

My Story

Namaste, I’m Suman and this is Kund – our family's spot for 25 years. Papa started it in 2003, and we’ve always stuck to real, simple desi khana. COVID hit us hard, so we renovated. Khatta meetha feeling, you know? Bhairav, our dog, did puja with us too! Every little thing here, from tiles to old doors, we did ourselves. Har cheez, Kund mein, personal touch hai (Everything here has a personal touch). Hope you feel the love when you visit.
