Earthlings Early Years

We run small-group kids’ classes and holiday camps where children learn through messy play, nature activities, and hands-on STEAM workshops, with two or three adults guiding each session.

About

I run Earthlings Early Years with a simple idea: learning sticks best when kids get grubby, laugh a lot, and chase their own curiosity. Don’t expect anything stiff or formal here. If your little one likes talking about poo and mud, they’ll fit right in. I tweak our sessions all the time to keep things fresh and kid-approved.

How We Roll

  • Play is our main language, and sensory play activities for toddlers are a big part of it - think mud, water, sand, and everything messy.
  • Loads of our sessions draw straight from nature - we might build nests, make bug baths, or pretend the classroom is a jungle or a river.
  • Art time is about the process, not the end result. No pressure to make anything ‘right’.
  • STEAM workshops for young children sneak in science and numbers using LEGO, blocks, and sometimes even robots (yep, for kids as young as three).

What’s On

  • Nature-inspired holiday camps during school breaks, with themes like Water Worlds, Jungle Adventures, or Out in the Garden.
  • Small groups only (around 8 kids), so your child actually gets noticed.
  • Two or three adults around to keep chaos safe and fun.

More Than Classes

We also celebrate Indian traditions, like Tholpaavakoothu (shadow puppets), to help kids explore culture and friendship, not just academics. Our goal? Let kids be kids, make memories, and get excited about learning.

My Story

We’re Earthlings, two foodies who somehow ended up running a preschool. If you walk in during Republic Day, you’ll see not just flags but Ela Ada and Pazham Pori everywhere, because food is how we celebrate life and diversity. Navratri? Artists come in for shadow puppet magic. For us, it’s less school, more family—sharing stories, laughter, and making friends for keeps. Kids here grow up knowing what connects us all, not just what makes us different.

My Work

Preschool, Daycare & Camps - We run a preschool, daycare, after-school classes, creative holiday camps, and workshops like Robotics & STEM.

Nature Based Sensory Learning - Kids get muddy, hunt for caterpillars, and make 'animal poo'—learning here is hands-on and child-led.

Not So Ordinary Activities - Fork Print Owls, Mark-a-Snake art, shadow puppet workshops, musical tours—boring drills aren’t our thing.

Community Events for Parents - We host potlucks, panel talks, and support parents with real conversations and shared experiences.

Programs for Ages 2 10 - Mini Makers for the little ones, Movable Machines for older kids—activities fit different age groups.
