My Story

Hello hi, ellarigunu! I’m Divya. Nine years, one boutique, Alankar Designer Studio, and a lot of heart. I’ve stitched for celebs and regular folks. Funny thing, I never felt comfy in my own skin – always in loose shirts, skipping weddings. Started my weight loss, not for quick fix, but for me. Amma Marikamba blesses, I believe. First time in a decade, I wore my own design for a photoshoot. Emotional! Now, I celebrate myself and my work. Oh, and I married my bestie – real love needs real effort.

Custom Design for Everyone - I create bridal wear, Western gowns, Indowestern outfits, lehengas, anarkalis, and even sibling matching outfits.

Blouse and Dress Tailoring - Bring your saree, nimma sarige suit aago tara (we’ll make it suit you) – custom blouse designs, your budget, your style.

Ball Gowns with Layers - For ball gowns, I show you the process – can-can, crepe, satin, net. All step-by-step, so you know what’s happening.

Upcycled Pattu Lehenga - Old silk sarees? I turn them into fresh, upcycled pattu lehengas. Very popular, especially for traditional events.

Plus size and Confidence - Beauty is all shapes. I design plus-size Indo-Western gowns with dupatta – flattering, comfy, and confidence boosting.
