I start with the fabric. I love the feel of natural materials, the way a weaver’s hand brings a story to life. It matters to me that every piece I design blends what’s old-school beautiful with what looks and feels fresh today. You’ll see a lot of this mix in my work - a little bit of heritage, a little bit of now.
I’m always drawn to natural and sustainable handlooms. Tencel™ Luxe for that buttery softness and flow, silk organza for its sheer layers (with a bit of shimmer from zari), and Tassar silk when I want something structured. It’s all about how the fabric drapes, and the vibe it gives.
I’m big on comfort, but you won’t find boring shapes here. Think asymmetrical designer tunics, tops with unexpected lines, lots of layering, and relaxed fits that still look sharp. Fluid drapes, cowl necks, wide-leg pants - it’s all about easy wear with a twist.
Small touches matter. I use intricate hand embroidery, sometimes inspired by tribal art or peacock motifs. You’ll spot unique prints (like my Owl Collection), cloth buttons, ruching, and tie-ups. Everything’s done by hand, so no two pieces are ever exactly the same.
