My Story

Hey, we’re Cubbon Tales. Started with a mat, some props, my kid D’s nanny clicking blurry pics, and my mom hyping me up. It was just me, a bunch of books, and whoever wanted to listen. Some days it’s pure magic, other days, kids just want to chase sprinklers. But every Saturday, we show up in Cubbon Park, sharing stories - old ones, new ones, and sometimes, ones we make up on the spot. This is our happy place.

My Work

Interactive Storytelling in Cubbon Park - We bring stories alive for kids and adults with music, movement, art, craft, and play.

Our Vibe: Nature, Chaos, and Fun - Some days stories finish, sometimes kids just run wild. We go with the flow, always.

Stories with Heart and Culture - We pick tales about feelings, festivals, breaking gender stereotypes, and celebrate diversity.

Building a Storytelling Community - Everyone’s welcome - kids, parents, grown-ups. We often team up with guest artists and authors.
