About
We’re Big Daddy’s Kitchen, and honestly, we just love bringing uenak soro (crazy good) Indonesian festival street food to events all over Surabaya. If you spot our pop-up food stall Surabaya at a bazaar, odds are there’s a crowd, and people are talking about our dishes.
What’s on the Table
- Sate Babi (Pork Satay): Non-halal, juicy, and empuk gede (tender, big) skewers. This is the dish folks queue for – if you like spice, you’ll love it.
- Nasi Bali Daging Pedas: Spicy Balinese rice bowl, loaded with meat. People call it yahud (awesome) and it’s perfect for eating as you wander around.
- Iga Pedas (Lightning Ribs): These ribs bite back – spicy and always in high demand, we refill our pot all day.
- Bakwan Goreng: Crunchy fried snack, easy to grab and go.
How We Roll
We don’t have a permanent shop – we set up wherever the festival takes us. Our kitchen is mobile, and we only serve food fresh and hot. We’re proud to be a spicy pork satay vendor, and most dishes here are non-halal.
