We started Bid & Hammer because we love art and the stories behind every piece. For us, these auctions are about connecting people with objects that mean something - not just selling stuff.
What’s in Our Auctions
- Indian fine art auction is our main focus. You’ll see everything from ancient sculptures to big names like Husain, Jamini Roy and Thota Vaikuntam. We cover lots of mediums - oil, watercolours, pen and ink, you name it.
- Collectibles and decorative arts range from museum-worthy antiques to quirky ceramics. Sometimes, you’ll spot Satsuma porcelain or Victorian glass. Rare Jain scrolls and stone Buddha statues pop up too.
- Royal jewellery auction lots come with stories - like documented Kundan and Polki pieces with Maratha roots.
How We Run Things
- We do themed online auctions (like Diwali specials) and no-reserve art sale events for anyone wanting to try their luck.
- Estate provenance collectibles get their own spotlight - you can bid on full collections with history attached.
