For me, draping a saree for a goddess idol isn’t just a task - it’s a bit like doing pooja with my hands. I pay extra attention to every pleat, especially during Varamahalakshmi. There’s something special about seeing Ammavaru in a properly styled saree, looking all majestic for the festival.

What I Offer

• Full draping service in Bangalore - I handle everything, right from wrapping the kalash and coconut, to arranging those perfect fanned-out pleats. No shortcuts, no rushing, just proper traditional silk saree draping for idols.
• Pre-pleated sarees for easy DIY goddess saree pleats. If you aren’t in Bangalore or want to do the final bit yourself, I’ll send you a ready pleated saree. Just place it on your idol - easy, but still looks grand.
• Saree draping workshops for deities - I actually teach this too! If you want to learn every step, from prepping the base to the circular pleat finish, you can join my workshops. It’s not as hard as it looks, but does need some practice.

My Style

I use only traditional silk sarees because they give the richest look. I go for lots of neat pleats, so the idol has that signature, full-round base that stands out during festival pooja idol decoration. Little things matter - even if it takes a bit more time, I’d rather do it right than quick.
