I bring ancient Indian epics and emotions to life through innovative tabla performances. My signature show "Ramayan on Tabla" uses nine percussion instruments paired with different Ragas to portray the Navarasas (nine human emotions) through rhythmic storytelling.

My Story
Music runs in my blood - Started learning tabla early, inspired by my father and legendary mentors like Ustad Alla Rakha.
Breaking barriers - As a female tabla player, I've worked hard to create space for women in Indian classical music.
Storytelling through rhythm - I believe music speaks to the soul, and every tabla beat tells a unique story.
Cultural roots matter - Growing up surrounded by Indian classical music shaped my vision to preserve and innovate our traditions.

What I do? - I perform solo tabla, lead all-female ensemble Stree Shakti, conduct workshops, and create fusion music projects.
How am I different? - I blend traditional tabla with contemporary styles, creating unique East-West musical conversations.
My signature projects - Created "Ramayan on Tabla" using nine percussion instruments and "Kautilya" combining rhythmic poetry with melodies.
