Therapeutic yoga, for me, is not about getting into fancy poses or stretching till something hurts. It's about tuning in to your own body and mind, working gently with what you have. I use a mix of asana, pranayama, mudra, and bandha - not just exercise, but a full-on approach to feeling better, every day.
I keep things very real and accessible. Props like blocks, straps, cushions? We use them a lot. No shame in that. It's about making things work for your body, not forcing your body to work for the pose. Whether you're new or have been on the mat for years, my sessions are tailored for you. And yes, we do everything online, so you can practice right from your own space.
If you're dealing with chronic pain (like back pain, arthritis, or fibromyalgia), lifestyle conditions (diabetes, PCOS, high BP), breathing issues, or even mental health stuff like anxiety or PTSD, this could really help. I also work with people who struggle with sleep, IBS, or migraines. My approach is gentle, trauma-informed, and always personalized - think personalized yoga therapy plans instead of a generic class.
No quick fixes here. Small, consistent steps matter more. Breathe, relax, move - that's where change begins.
