I started Ammana Mane Oota to keep alive the taste of real home food. The pickles and spice blends I make are honestly just like what my amma (mom) used to make - nothing fancy, just straightforward, full of flavour, and no shortcuts. I still use the same tricks I saw as a kid - slow curing, hand grinding, and waiting for the pickles to mature properly.

Straight From My Kitchen

• Everything’s made by me in my own kitchen, not in some huge factory.
• I use whole spices, roast and grind them myself. No masala powders from packets, no artificial stuff.
• My homemade mango pickle is a yearly ritual, and the traditional sambar powder is what I use at home too.
• You won’t find preservatives or food colours in my jars. What you see is what you get.

What’s in the Lineup

• Mango pickle, amla (nellikai) pickle, and pickled chillies - all made with fresh, local produce.
• Custom biryani masala and authentic puliogare mix - straight-up, ready to use, and packed with flavour.
• Sometimes, depending on the season, you’ll find something new in the mix.

Honest Food, No Rush

I’m not here to sell mass-produced stuff. If you want pickles and spice blends that taste like home, made in small batches, you’ll probably like what I do. If you want super spicy or super sweet, mine might not fit the bill - I keep it close to how it’s meant to be.
