At Masters Muay Thai Academy, I see Muay Thai as more than just sport - it’s a way to find balance, discipline, and a bit of peace in the chaos. Training is everything, nothing comes easy here.
Muay Boran training sessions go back to the roots. I teach the Amarit method, straight from my Borrommakru, no shortcuts. You get to learn how the 'art of nine limbs' works, training the head as a weapon too, not just fists and feet. The 'One Step, One Punch' idea is central - you learn to move with purpose, not just swing wildly. We drill combinations, and you practice ancient Mae Mai/Luk Mai moves like Paksa Waek Rang and Hanuman Tawayan, each with its own story.
It's not one-off classes - you move through levels, with formal grading. The Wai Khru ceremony is part of the journey, honoring tradition and your own effort along the way.
I say, "Jit tai, jit mai wai" (courage comes from within), and I mean it. My women's self-defense workshop is about building real strength, physical and mental. We train self-defense skills and conditioning, all in a group that’s got your back.
Here, you pick up traditional stick fighting techniques, learning stance, blocks, and strikes. It’s old-school, but it works, and it’s fun to learn.
I can show you the way, but it’s on you to walk it. We’re all warriors here, each on a different step. If you want to connect with yourself, this is where you start.
