About

Yoga for me is about tuning into your body and mind, not chasing perfect poses. I don’t believe in pushing past pain or comparing yourself with others. This practice is my daily sadhana - it brings real sukoon (peace) and helps me stay grounded. I follow ahimsa, focusing on progress and kindness, not just achievement.

What Happens in Class

We move ahista (slow and steady) through asanas, breathe deep with pranayama, and close with a bit of meditation or AUM chanting. I teach straight from the roots - drawing on Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras and the Hatha Yoga Pradipika. You’ll find my sessions welcoming, whether you’re exploring Yoga for beginners or already comfy on the mat.

How We Practice

  • Foundational poses like Warrior and Tree, for balance and stability.
  • Deep stretches and hip openers to release tension and boost flexibility.
  • Core work and gentle arm balances, plus heart openers like Ushtrasana.
  • Dynamic sequences like Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutation), always connecting breath and movement.

Beyond the Mat

This is more than a workout. Expect increased strength and stamina, better posture and breath. Off the mat, most people notice a calmer mind and shukrana (gratitude) for the journey. I offer online live classes, in-person groups in Electronic City Bengaluru, and sessions for corporate teams.

Traditional Hatha Yoga practice is for everyone. All bodies, all ages, all stories welcome.

My Story

I am always learning, even as a certified Yoga teacher. Yoga for me? Not just fancy poses, but finding sukoon (peace) in the mind. I believe in 'Ahista, Ahista' - slow and steady, small wins, no rush. Classical Hatha Yoga is my jam, rooted in tradition and balance. As a Punjabi girl, I love sharing this with my Bangalore folks and online. Whether adults or kids, it’s all about living better, with shukrana (gratitude) in every breath.
