I dance because I have to. My roots are in Bangalore with Punyah Dance Company, but honestly, the stage could be anywhere - a tiny temple, a big city hall, even someone’s backyard. Every show is its own adventure, and I never really know where the art will take me next.

What I Perform

• Solo Recitals: Just me and a live orchestra, digging deep into the classical Bharatanatyam repertoire. These are for sabhas, festivals, or anyone wanting the full, old-school classical Indian dance storytelling vibe.
• Group Productions: With Punyah, it’s all about big, colorful pieces. We’ve done shows like 'Abha' and 'MAYA' - these are energetic, visual, and honestly, nothing beats the rush of dancing with the whole crew. Perfect for those looking for Bharatanatyam group productions.
• Custom Events: Weddings, private parties, or corporate gigs - I can put together something special. It could be a solo, duet, or a small group, with or without the full live orchestra dance show. You get to choose what fits.

What Makes It Special

Live music changes everything. Even if it’s just me on stage, the orchestra brings its own magic. The mridangam, the singers, all the ‘annas’ and ‘jis’ - they’re the backbone of my work.

The Pieces I Dance

Expect a mix - technical numbers like Thillana, expressive Var­nams, and mythological dance performance pieces about folks like Rama and Sita. Each is a story on its own.

One Last Thing

People ask, “Panchanga nodi bandira... adre... chennagi nodi bandira?” (Checked the calendar before coming... but did you look closely?). I hope you do look close. Every step means something. Let’s see where this journey takes us, yaake illa? (why not?).
