Pottery here isn’t about chasing perfection - it’s about curiosity, patience, and learning to sit with the unknown. We built A Ware Studio as a space for quiet revolutions, where the clay changes you as much as you shape it. Everyone comes with different stories, and there’s no pressure to fit a mold.
Our Studio Vibe
We’re pretty chill. The studio is full of laughter, random conversations, and those moments where everyone’s just zoned in. We keep things kind and open, so you can ask the “stupid” questions or just hang out. You’ll find encouragement, not competition.
How You Can Join In
- Wheel throwing pottery classes: Our 50-hour journey is for anyone wanting to really dig in - beginners or those needing a reset.
- Hand-building ceramics course: A 6-week hands-on experience, led by sculptor Ishita Nagar, focusing on form and creativity without the wheel.
- Themed pottery workshops: Easy 4-hour sessions, great for trying something new or having fun with friends. Past themes include miniature animals, relief tiles, and Kurinuki (Japanese carving technique).
- Professional pottery training: A 1000-hour program, max 4 people per batch, covering both craft and the business side. Ends with your own pop-up show, Ügam.

Pottery School & Immersive Courses - Not a weekend crash course. We go deep—wheel-throwing, hand-building, even 8-month immersive pottery courses.
Foraged Clay & Atmospheric Firing - Our '100 Explorations' project uses foraged clay ceramics and atmospheric firing pottery for pieces that carry stories.
Community Pottery Studio - Started Ügam for new potters. This space is about sharing, learning, and growing together—no one left out.
