I’m not your regular art teacher and this isn’t a regular class. For me, art is not about perfecting a brushstroke. It’s messy, loud, and sometimes, uncomfortable. I run these workshops because I believe art is a way to fight, to heal, and to shout out when words run out.
We do more than just paint or sculpt. Some days we make giant Rangolis, other days we get into collaborative mural making or ‘paint with the sun’ Cyanotype. There’s theatre, drumming, and games. I use things like Theatre of the Oppressed workshop techniques to act out real-life struggles. It’s all about community art projects that get us talking and thinking.
My main work is with marginalized folks—especially sex workers in Kamatipura, Mumbai—but honestly, anyone can join. I’ve had everyone from young people to activists, corporate teams, and even PhD scholars. If you want to be a part of a tribe that believes in healing through art and real talk, you’ll fit right in.
There’s no studio with fancy lights. Sometimes we’re in a tiny room, sometimes out on the street. We’ll laugh, sometimes cry, and always leave a little changed. Here, art is about dignity and finding your own voice.

My Story
My Work
Murals, illustrations, and workshops - I make political mural art, book illustrations, portraits, and run gender violence art workshops.
Art as activism - My art starts tough conversations - about gender, child abuse, society. Truth is art for me.
Process over perfection - I let the paint lead, focus on energy and likeness. Expressive portrait painting, never just realism.
Art for NGOs and families - I work with NGOs, collectives, and make commissioned family art that lasts beyond us.
