This is the first collection of visuals a client will see. I have selected these 8 pieces to tell a compelling story of artistry, heritage, and unique skill. They are arranged to capture attention immediately, showcase the variety of my work, and build trust by revealing the hands-on process.
Heritage Patchwork Sarees
I create one-of-a-kind sarees by patchworking salvaged heritage textiles like Bandhni, Ajrakh, and Banarsi silks. Each piece is made-to-order and embellished with intricate hand-embroidery such as Zardozi, resulting in a wearable heirloom.
Artisanal Shawls, Chadars & Dupattas
My collection of wraps features a confluence of global and local textiles, from Laotian tribal silk and Myanmar hemp to Indian Kala cotton and pure linen. I combine these with Kutch embroidery, patchwork, and Zardozi details to create versatile, reversible, and storied pieces.
Bespoke Blouses & Kurtis
I design custom blouses, kurtis, and cholis that are wearable art. I use materials like antique gold linen silk for the front and rich Banarsi zari for the back, combining them with Kutch embroidery and trims from my scrap collection.
From Scrap to Story: Zero-Waste Creations
In my studio, no scrap is too small or precious to be discarded. I transform leftover fabric waste into vibrant, one-of-a-kind home textiles, including improv quilts and decorative runners, ensuring every piece of history finds a new purpose.
Restoration & Reimagined Art
My passion extends beyond textiles to salvaging and restoring vintage objects. I breathe new life into forgotten pieces like old wooden panels and trunks, transforming them into unique art and decor inspired by Kalamkari, temple motifs, and Indian material culture.
The Artisan's Process
I believe in sharing the intimate history and process behind each creation. Here, you can see glimpses of my studio work, from sketching and painting to the meticulous patchwork and stitching that brings each unique garment to life.
