Why I Love What I Do
Designing custom ethnic wear is what makes me smile every day. My boutique in Nagarbhavi, Bangalore, is where I bring your dream outfits to life. Weddings, poojas, or any habba (festival) - I get excited about creating looks that feel truly "nimmade" (your own). Each piece is made with lots of care and patience, and sometimes a little trial and error if we're honest!
What I Make (For Everyone!)
- For Women: Bridal lehengas, South Indian half saree design (langa voni), and my favorite - bespoke bridal blouses. You choose the fabric, neckline, and sleeves, and I’ll suggest what works best for your style.
- For Men: Hand-embroidered sherwanis, kurtas, and easy-to-wear pre-stitched dhotis. Embroidery can be minimal or grand, depending on what you want.
- For Kids: Custom kids ethnic outfits, from mini lehengas to tiny kurtas. I know how fussy kids can be with clothes, so I keep comfort in mind.
Why My Outfits Stand Out
- I use a lot of detailed Aari and Zardosi work, thread, and zari, with motifs like peacocks, elephants, or even just playful florals.
- Love adding little touches - tassels, contrast linings, or a pop of unexpected color.
- If you’re not in Bangalore, no problem. I do video consults, help with measurements, and ship worldwide.
Sometimes, creating the perfect fit takes time. But when you see the final look in the mirror, tumba chennagide (it’s very nice) - and that’s all that matters to me.

My Story
Hi! I'm Astha. Fashion should feel good, not just look good. That’s why I started my boutique - ellarigu aa feeling kodbeku antha nange (everyone deserves that feeling, I say). My heart beats for sarees, so I began Astha Silks & Sarees too. Brides shining in our Gandaberunda concept sarees or custom blouses - that’s my real joy. Sometimes I see their pics from the US and just smile. Our brides are our pride, truly.
