We start with the fundamentals of balance, actively correcting common habits like 'chicken wings' early on and teaching you to read your horse's mood before you ever approach a jump. You will train on our reliable sport horses, which helps you get comfortable with different strides and horse temperaments, ensuring you learn safety protocols that protect both you and your equine partner. ### Your Equestrian Journey At Zippy, we believe that riding is a partnership, not just a sport. Our 'First Steps to First Jumps' program is designed to take you from a complete beginner to a confident equestrian, regardless of your starting point. ### The Progression We don't believe in shortcuts. Your journey typically starts with: * **Foundation & Safety:** Learning how to mount, handle tack, and understand basic equine anatomy. We emphasize safety gear—helmets and boots are mandatory. * **Balance & Posture:** You will work on independent seat position and core strength to ensure you are balanced at the walk, trot, and canter. * **Grid Work & Gymnastics:** As you gain confidence, we introduce grid work to improve your horse's agility and your own rhythm. * **Introduction to Jumping:** We transition from single poles to 60cm and 80cm courses once you have mastered the basics of control and communication. ### Why Train With Us Our facility in JP Nagar 7th Phase is designed for focus and growth. We prioritize compassionate horsemanship—sometimes horses act up, and part of your training is learning how to handle those moments with patience rather than force. We also use periodic video review for our intermediate riders to analyze your posture and stride, helping you correct faults like refusal or incorrect leads in real-time. Whether you are aiming for local competitions or just want to master the art of riding, we provide the environment, the sport horses, and the coaching to get you there. ## About Zippy We are Team Zippy, and we believe that if you love horses, you belong here. We have turned a quiet corner of JP Nagar into a space where beginners find their balance and shy riders turn into confident equestrians, one lesson at a time. We don't just teach riding; we teach you how to think like a horseman.
