Whether you are learning the flute, guitar, or drums, our classes go beyond the standard syllabus. You will find yourself jamming with teachers and fellow students within your first few sessions, not just staring at a textbook. At Zen Music Academy, we believe music is a language that everyone can speak. Our teaching philosophy bridges the gap between structured technique and creative expression. ### Our Teaching Approach We prioritize the 'bariiki' or finer details of music. If you are learning the flute, we focus on breath control and intonation against a tanpura rather than just fingering. If you are a vocalist, we teach voice projection that fills the room, not just pitch-perfect singing. We combine the discipline of traditional Indian Classical notation with the freedom of Western jamming styles. ### Learning Formats - **Group Sessions:** Ideal for those who thrive on energy and collaboration. With batches capped at 5 students, you get enough individual attention while gaining the confidence of playing in a band. - **1-on-1 Premium:** For focused learning, song decoding, or advanced theory like the circle of fifths and improvisation techniques. ### Our Environment We have fully air-conditioned classrooms in Mira Road and Vasai, equipped with acoustic treatment for professional sound quality. We provide the instruments during class, including Yamaha digital pianos, acoustic guitars, and full drum kits, so you can start immediately without buying gear. Our doors are open to everyone—from complete beginners to intermediate players who feel stuck. Drop by for a free workshop to see how we tune our instruments, jam with our teachers, and why our students often start performing in bands after just a few classes. ## About Zen Music Academy We are a musical family where beginners quickly become band members. Our teachers mix deep technical knowledge with a relaxed, jamming vibe, ensuring you learn the soul of your instrument, not just the scales.
