In our sessions, we focus on the struggle of matching your note with the Tanpura and understanding why 440Hz tuning matters. You will learn that the flute doesn't have knobs to twist—it is all about how you breathe and hold your posture. When you walk into our studio, do not expect a stiff classroom. You will find us sitting on the floor, usually surrounded by instruments. We believe music is for everyone, and our flute workshops are built to prove that. ### The Zen Approach to Flute The core of our teaching is simple: * **Breath and Posture:** You cannot play if your body is tense. We start with the basics—how to sit, how to hold the bansuri, and how to control your air pressure. * **The Tanpura Connection:** Learning to listen is just as important as playing. We practice matching the 'Sa' with the Tanpura to build your ear for Indian Classical nuances. * **Technical Reality:** Unlike guitars or drums, a flute does not have frets or leather heads to tune. You are the tuner. We explain the 'why' behind everything, from frequency standards to the physics of sound production. Our sessions are designed for absolute beginners and those who have hit a learning plateau. Whether you are in Mira Road or Vasai, these workshops are a space to ask questions, observe our guru's technique, and jam with fellow students. We do not just teach you the notes; we teach you how to feel the music. ## About Zen Music Academy At Zen Music Academy, we are a big musical family.
