My sessions focus on safe, layer-by-layer line brushing to detangle without tugging. Whether your companion is a Persian or a Maine Coon, I take the time to ensure they are calm and comfortable before we begin. Many owners of long-haired breeds tell me the biggest challenge is the shedding and the knots that seem to appear overnight. That is exactly where my deep grooming sessions come in. I do not just brush the surface. I use professional line-brushing techniques to work through the coat, layer by layer, removing the trapped dead hair that leads to painful matting. This process is crucial for Persians, Himalayans, and Maine Coons who need that extra attention to stay mat-free. My process starts with a soothing, calm environment. There is no rushing, no loud noises, just plenty of patience. I use premium shampoos from brands like Biogroom and Forbis to gently cleanse the coat and lift debris without stripping natural oils. For those thick coats, a proper fluff-dry is essential to get that soft finish.
