I use custom-built, food-grade armatures hidden within the cake to support those floating tiers, ensuring your centerpiece remains stable while looking like it is defying physics. Because these designs require precision planning, please reach out at least a week before your event to let me design the structure for your theme. When you want a centerpiece that makes guests stop and ask, 'How did she do that?', that is exactly where these illusion cakes come in. These aren't just stacked layers; they are structural cakes designed to create floating illusions, whether it is an ice cream cone pouring candy or a superhero mid-air. ### The Engineering Behind the Art People often see the final cake, but the real work happens in my Goregaon studio with the planning. I treat every order as a technical challenge. I use specialized food-grade internal structures—not just simple dowels—to act as the backbone for the design. This creates that 'impossible' look while keeping the cake safe for transport across Mumbai's western suburbs. ### Customization & Flavors While the structure is the showstopper, the taste is my priority. Whether you want a decadent chocolate truffle, classic vanilla strawberry, or fresh fruit, my cakes use a premium eggless sponge. For the exterior, I use sharp-edge ganache or fondant coverage that hides the mechanics completely. From kids' birthdays with favorite cartoon characters to milestone events with elegant floral floating tiers, I can adapt the theme to any concept you have in mind. ### Practical Advice for Ordering Because these cakes involve structural work, they are not 'pick-up-and-go' items. - **Lead Time:** Please book at least 7 days in advance so I can build the custom armature. - **Delivery:** I deliver across the western suburbs of Mumbai. For very large or complex setups, I often travel to the venue to assemble on-site. - **Consultation:** Send me your ideas or AI-generated concepts. I will tell you honestly what is structurally possible and how we can make it work for your budget. ## About Yummylicious by Monica I started in a small kitchen with big dreams and sleepless nights.
